This poem was given to me by Vera Lopez (on photo) on my 18th birthday
(Not sure if this is her original or not. Nevertheless, this is such a beautiful poem)
When you count your many friendship
of the days of long ago
When our lives were young and vibrant
With joys we cherished so;
When you make list of loved ones who
Have stood through thick and thin,
Who have loved and still are loyal,
Do not fail to count me in.
When you look ahead and wonder
What the years will bring to you
Who will still your friendship cherish
Through the years remaining true;
When you make a list of friendships
Through years have changeless been
When life's final list is entered,
Do not fail to count me in.

Hi, got to your page looking up a line from this poem!
We found an old slip of paper with this poem written in my grandfather's hand-writing.
Still haven't found the original author. It's very nice.
Thank You! My dad gave me this poem which I put on my refrigerator years ago. I remembered the title, general message and last line. I hoped to find it years ago to read at his memorial service, but it is still comforting to read now.
